1. General Principle & Customer Commitment
At Refactored, we are dedicated to providing high-quality digital products, reliable micro-SaaS platforms, and premium QR media (including ScanForService and PingMyCar). We operate clear, transparent policies aligned with European Union consumer protection directives and Belgian commercial law.
2. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (Consumers / B2C)
2.1. If you are a consumer residing within the European Union (an individual acting outside of commercial, business, or professional capacity), you have the legal right to withdraw from your contract within 14 calendar days without providing a reason.
2.2. The 14-day withdrawal period commences:
- For digital services and software licenses: on the day the agreement is concluded.
- For physical goods (tangible QR media): on the day you (or a designated third party) acquire physical possession of the items.
3. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with statutory consumer protection regulations (Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law), specific exceptions apply:
- Customized QR Media & Personalized Print Goods (art. VI.53, 3°):Physical products manufactured according to your specifications — such as uniquely encoded QR stickers, vehicle window cards, or batches generated with unique IDs — are classified as customized goods and are exempt from withdrawal once production has commenced.
Quality Guarantee: In the unlikely event of manufacturing defects, print flaws, or damage in transit, Refactored will replace the affected items free of charge or provide a full credit upon verification. - Immediate Digital Content & SaaS Access (art. VI.53, 13°):When purchasing digital software access, API keys, or recurring platform licenses, if you explicitly consent to immediate provisioning and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once access begins, the withdrawal right ceases upon activation.
- Business Purchases (B2B):Statutory withdrawal rights apply exclusively to consumers. Commercial transactions entered into by companies or self-employed individuals with a registered VAT number are governed strictly by the applicable master service or software licensing terms.
